August Ramstad

Studying abroad is not only about educating yourself within a different (or in some cases a ‘better’) system. It is briefly about education; not only in terms of academia but also in terms of educating yourself through experiencing and understanding new cultures, people and setting, thus expanding your perspective on the world itself.

Author Bio

Hi! My name is August, I am 21 years old and from Oslo, Norway. Initially I am doing my BA in International Relations at Queen Mary University of London, but currently I am doing a full exchange year at the University of Copenhagen via the EU program Erasmus+. Despite the fact that I am a Norwegian citizen and love my country, I have throughout my youth travelled a great deal and for this reason always been eager to educate myself abroad.
