“Who am I?” - Is a question that we will encounter multiple times during our lives. We live our lives in the hope that one day we'll find the right answer. The answer we however are looking for is not necessarily out there. But before we can know that for a fact we firstly need to go out and search for it. Therefore as a 22-year-old Dane with Bosnian roots, I have chosen to study at the National University of Singapore. I have thrown myself into deep water; the first strokes are taken and you are more than welcome to follow the journey.

A Poem: “Home”

To be back home again is an ambivalent feeling. The restlessness that in the first place triggered the desire to go abroad is now tamed for a short period. Tamed – so the old trivial patterns can be relived. They are old; they are trivial; but they are also great. Don’t get me wrong. They are great. And they will remain great. However – the greatness will just always be associated with triviality. The same triviality that once torched the restlessness. A homecoming seems more confusing than logical; and it only makes it more difficult to express it in words.…
