In the fall of 2013, a then 20-year-old Mimmi Lindquist left a small town in Sweden to start her college adventure at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
She had expected to work in banking, but a passion for entrepreneurial thinking and a flair for a practical approach to problem solving led her to fall for tech.
She hasn’t looked back.
While the PowerPoint perfectionist skews young, she has cut her teeth at places like BMO Capital Markets, the Consulate General of Sweden in New York, the Institute For Research on Labor and Employment, and 1776 Venture Capital.
It’s a motley story held together by a desire to work at the intersection of business and technology, and a love for the predictable unpredictabilities of project delivery.
Now she’s looking to make visible impacts through projects she believes in and harness the power of an interdisciplinary perspective.
