Born and raised in Karachi, I attended the Karachi Grammar School, where I completed my A-levels. From here I went to the University of Ottawa to pursue a Joint Honours in Economics & Political Science. Ottawa allowed me to realize my true potential, which strengthened me and gave me confidence to chase my dreams. After spending a year at the University of Ottawa, I transferred to one of my dream universities, McGill University to major in Economics and minor in Management.

A piece of advice I would like to give to all prospective university students is to get involved in student leadership. Student leadership is when a student becomes a part of a certain administrative student body, that makes key decisions or set policies that affect certain or all students and their overall university experience. Located in the undisputed party capital of Canada and being known to organize some of the wildest student parties in the country, one can be justified when they call McGill University a “party school.” Although McGill has it’s enjoyable side, when it comes to academics it can be ruthless!
