The Great Railway Bazaar

I believe trains are just the best way to enjoy new countries, you get the scenery and you get the real people. Yesterday, travelling from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, we spent I think 6-7 hours in a train. Our third class ticket costed us just 30 cents, best spent 30 cents of my life. We spent the whole journey sited on the edge of the entrance door, which, as in all Asia, remained opened during the whole trip. We enjoyed the best views of Sri Lanka, breathing the fresh air of the tea plantation hills and, at times, touching the jungle with our feet. Travelling makes me feel so alive, I missed it. Day 2 was just incredible, and, as usual, every time I am back to Asia it takes me a second to feel like at home.
The Great Railway Bazaar What's better than sitting on the edge of the entrance door of a train crossing the tea plantation and jungle hills of Sri Lanka for six-seven hours to catch up on two and an half months of summer adventures with your dearest floating-bitch-friend-partner-in-crime @amberannmartine !? Day 2, and we have already cried #nofilter #travelling #srilanka #train #mood #adventure #30cents #view #friends #go #people #love #neverstop
