SUPA Polo Champions Warwick

Dedication and hard work have yet again proven to be the best recipe for success. I can now proudly call myself a National Champion after winning my division at the SUPA National Arena Polo Championship 2017.

Me and my teammates have been training so hard, and was only dreaming of actually winning the tournament. After winning all our “chukkas” in the first round and then winning the semifinals, we were ready for finals against Nottingham. It was by far the most intense game I’ve ever played, but also the most enjoyable as we all played so well. The feeling when the bell rang and we realised we actually won Nationals, must be one of the best feelings I have ever had. I was also awarded the Most Valuable Player, so it’s safe to say that this tournament was my most successful so far, and definitely the highlight of my time at Warwick.

Nowadays I’m mostly catching up on school work as Polo has taken up quite a lot of my time lately. Luckily I’m done with all my deadlines for this term, so the last weeks won’t be too stressful.
