About Cornell University
Cornell is among the larger Ivy League universities, and located in Ithaca in upstate New York. It has an excellent academic reputation perhaps most prominently in engineering and medicine. It has also invested heavily in expanding its international partnerships, not least with Asian universities and organisations. Student life features a vibrant Greek system (Frats & Sororities) as well as one of the most active sporting scenes in the Ivy League. Among Cornell’s alumni are 50 Nobel laureates, 29 Rhodes Scholars, and 14 living billionaires.
Interestingly, Cornell happens to be the only public Ivy League school, as four of the university’s seven constituent schools receive state funding.
